In general, the period during which the property remains Contingent in Real Estate usually takes from 30 to 60 days. However, it can depend on different factors, such as how successfully the process of meeting contingencies goes. Delays in loan approval, inspections, or appraisals could increase the time the property remains contingent. When all conditions are met, the property gets into pending status, which means it is getting close to the closing date.
