Market Size & Salary: Small-market teams (like the Athletics or Rays) often want to dump big contracts. If you can absorb their salary, you can get high-rated stars.
Position Overlap: The AI reduces a player’s value if you offer someone who plays a position the team already has filled. Always look for roster gaps first.
Step-by-Step: Manually Submitting a Trade
Enter the Trade Hub: Head to the central Trade Hub dashboard.
Check the Rumor Feed: Look at the live trade blocks and rumors to see what teams want.
Verify Untouchables: Some star players are “Untouchable” and nearly impossible to get unless you overpay. Check the player’s status.
Construct Your Package: You can offer up to four players per side. Balance talent, positional depth, and years of team control. Players with secondary positions can increase package value.
