TEREA一根可以使用多久，主要還是看個人的抽吸習慣。每口吸得較深、間隔較短，通常會較快完成一次加熱；反之，抽吸較輕且間隔較長，體感時間可能有所不同，因此沒有適用所有人的固定分鐘數。
目前網路上的資料大多落在約8～15口，但不同設備與使用方式可能造成差異。與其單純追求更多口數，不如注意主機的加熱提示，完成一次使用後更換新的煙彈，才能避免因重複加熱造成風味與體感落差。
